Common questions
Do I need a Squarespace account before we start?
No — you don't need anything before we talk. If you proceed with a build, I'll help you choose the right plan. You own the account directly with Squarespace; I never hold admin access beyond the project. As a Squarespace Circle member I can also get you 10% off your first year.
How long does a typical website build take?
A standard 5-page Website Build takes 2–3 weeks from signed contract to launch. Single pages are usually 5–7 days. Timelines for Monthly Care and Ad Hoc work vary — I'll always give you a clear estimate before starting.
What do I need to provide?
At minimum: your written copy, any photos or images you want on the site, and your logo. If you're still working on any of these, we can plan around it — or I can point you toward resources that help.
Can you redesign a site I already have?
Yes. Many projects start with an existing Squarespace site that needs a refresh or full rebuild. I'll assess what's worth keeping, restructure what isn't, and build forward from a clean foundation.
What's your refund or revision policy?
Fixed-price builds include one revision round. All projects start with a written scope agreement and a 50% deposit — the deposit is non-refundable if you cancel mid-project, but scope concerns are always flagged before they become surprises.

You'll receive a contract and 50% deposit invoice. Work begins once both are received.
Build, review & launch
Site construction with one revision round included. The balance is invoiced at launch — nothing hidden, nothing unexpected.
