Fire & Spice — Website Design & Build
A ground-up single-page website for a Winnipeg taco spot — menu, daily specials, gallery, catering, and contact, built so the team can keep it current themselves.
Visit live siteFire & Spice is a taco spot in Winnipeg serving fresh, made-to-order food with a rotating line-up of daily specials. They needed a first online home — somewhere people could find the menu, check hours, see what's on today, and get in touch about catering, without hunting across social media.
The brief was deliberately focused: one page that does the job well. Everything a hungry visitor needs lives on a single scroll, and the whole thing was built on Squarespace so the team can update specials, hours, and photos themselves once it's live.
Approach
A restaurant site lives or dies on how fast it answers three questions: what's good, when are you open, and how do I order. The page was structured around exactly that — menu and daily specials up top, hours and location close behind, then gallery, catering, and contact. The Instagram feed was wired directly into the page so the site stays alive between visits without anyone touching the code, and the build was handed over with full Squarespace access so updates never need to route back through me.
"Maksym exceeded my expectations in every respect. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable — and the final result was a clean, attractive, and well-presented website that effectively showcases our restaurant."

How We Did It
One Focused Page
Menu, daily specials, hours, gallery, catering, and contact — everything a hungry visitor needs on a single scroll, with nothing in the way of the order.
Built to Self-Manage
Delivered on Squarespace with full access handed to the team, so specials, hours, and photos can be updated in minutes — no developer required.
Always Current
Instagram integrated straight into the page keeps the site fresh between visits, mirroring the daily specials the team already posts to social.
