Tea with Nonni — Brand & Website

A warm, editorial web presence built from the ground up — partnering with a founder who had the vision and the recipes, but needed someone to take the technical weight off her plate entirely.

Role

Designer & Technical Partner

Tea with Nonni is a food and lifestyle platform built around the warmth of intergenerational cooking and everyday ritual. Zana came to the project with a clear sense of who she was and what she wanted to share — but with limited technical background, no existing brand, and a need for a genuine partner rather than just a service provider.

The brief was effectively: take this off my hands. The technical side, the design decisions, the structure — Zana needed to be free to focus on her recipes, her stories, and her audience while someone else handled the build. The result is a site that feels specific and warm in the way she intended, without her having to navigate any of the complexity it took to get there.

The visual language was built around warmth, softness, and editorial restraint — floral accents, warm cream tones, and typography that feels personal without feeling homemade. The platform needed a content architecture capable of growing: a recipe library, seasonal posts, and an editorial voice that expands over time without losing its intimate character. Everything from platform selection to content structure to how new posts get published was handled with Zana's ease of use in mind — the goal was for ongoing maintenance to feel effortless, not technical. That clarity of handoff mattered as much as the design.

"Working with Maksym took the stress of the web work completely off my plate — I could focus on my recipes and my audience while he handled everything else. The site looks exactly like I imagined it, and I actually know how to use it."

Brand Identity

Warm, editorial, and specific — cream tones, floral accents, and considered typography that feels personal without feeling amateur. A visual identity that communicates character before a single word is read.

Content Architecture

Built to grow — a recipe archive, editorial posts, and seasonal content — while keeping the front page feeling curated. Platform setup optimised so Zana can publish new content without any technical friction.

Partnership Approach

More than a client-agency dynamic — the project was a genuine collaboration. Every decision was made with Zana's voice and vision at the centre, while the technical complexity stayed invisible to her throughout.
